Privacy Policy

Last updated July 24, 2026

This website and our apps are run by Berke Kiran (aka pzzaworks), an independent developer who builds and publishes apps as an individual ("Berke Kiran", "we", or "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use any of our apps, distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run our products well.

Information we collect

We collect a few broad kinds of information:

  • Information you give us. When you email us or reach out for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. Some apps also let you connect an email address to your account, which we use to identify that account and to send you a sign-in code.
  • Content you submit in our apps. Some apps work on something you send them - for example a photo of a plant you want diagnosed, together with any notes or names you add. We process that content to produce the result you asked for and to keep your history working inside the app.
  • A device identifier. Some apps work without a login. Instead of asking you to sign up, the app creates a random identifier for your installation and uses it to hold your data. It is not your name, and it is not an identifier assigned to you by Apple or Google.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites and apps, we receive technical details such as device type, operating system, app version, approximate region, and basic usage events. This helps us understand how our products perform and where they break.

If you download an app from an app store, that store may share limited, aggregated information with us (for example, install counts or crash reports) under its own terms.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website and apps.
  • Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and measure performance.
  • Respond to your questions and support requests.
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and activity that threatens our users or our services.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand usage in aggregate. We do not use them to build advertising profiles, and you can control cookies through your browser settings.

Photos and AI processing

Some apps answer a question about a photo you take - for example, diagnosing a plant from a picture of a leaf. When you ask for that, the photo is sent to an AI provider that produces the result, and it is handled under that provider's terms. The photo is then kept in private cloud storage so your history keeps working, and it is reachable only through short-lived links issued to your own app. We do not publish your photos, and we do not share them with anyone beyond the providers that process or store them for you.

Sharing and disclosure

We share information only when it is necessary to operate our products, and only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Trusted vendors who host our infrastructure, deliver email, or provide analytics, acting on our instructions and bound to protect the data.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law, or to respond to valid legal requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
  • Business transfers. If ownership of our apps or business changes, for example through a sale or transfer of assets, information may move as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Deleting your account

Apps that keep an account for you also let you delete it from inside the app. Deleting is permanent: it removes the account and everything tied to it, including your history, anything you saved, any email address you connected, and the session on your device.

One small thing deliberately survives that deletion. Where an app offers a free monthly allowance, we keep an anonymous counter of how much of that allowance a device has used. It is stored as a one-way hash of the app's own random device identifier, next to a month and a number - nothing else. It is not connected to the account you deleted or to anything you created with it, it does not identify you, and it exists only so a free allowance cannot be reset over and over by deleting and recreating an account. These counters are discarded after a couple of months.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, or as required to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Usage data is generally kept for a shorter period, except where it is used to strengthen security or improve functionality.

International transfers

We work as an independent developer and rely on service providers in different countries. Your information may be processed outside the region where you live. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California, among others, have specific rights under their local laws. To make a request, just contact us and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Children's privacy

Our website and apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our products may link to sites and services we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be made clear. Continuing to use our website or apps after an update means you accept the revised policy.
